In today’s post we will talk about wearable fashion trends for Fashion Trends in 2022/2023, a topic that is always in high demand at this time of the year.
In fact, I have selected for you, among the many fashion trends for autumn winter 2022/23, some trends that I think are very suitable for women of all ages.
And that, most importantly, are wearable and easy to integrate into everyone’s wardrobe.
I am convinced that many of us already have that right garment or accessory in our closet, most suitable for experimenting and playing with new fashion trends and integrating them into our style.
But let’s come right away to the new and most wearable Fashion Trends in 2022/2023.
1 – THE MINISKIRT
The first trend we see – or rather revisit – this season is the miniskirt, which we saw in a micro version last spring.
This year, mini lengths in both skirts and dresses are being reintroduced to us, but in a decidedly more wearable key, with lengths more appropriate even for us over 40.
In winter, it will then be even easier to wear skirts and short dresses if we wish, because we can pair them with beautiful stockings and tights.
2- SHOE TRENDS
For the new season we are witnessing two major returns, already present and in past years, although more quietly.
The first stars of the season will be the very classic pumps, both in classic or even minimal and super decorated versions. Sometimes with chain elements or precious brooches for the more eclectic models.
In any case, pumps will be one of the strong trends of autumn.
The other big comeback involves over-the-knee boots. The super feminine model that covers the knees not only keeps you warm, but is also very chic, especially when paired with mid-length or maxi skirts and dresses.
3 – THE COLOR BLACK
I know this is news that will make many and many of us happy, but it will throw others into discouragement, who are convinced that black is unsuitable for mature women.
Personally, I don’t think so at all. I love black and it is definitely a very present color in my wardrobe.
4 – THE PANTSUIT (OR SKIRT SUIT)
another seasonal trend imported from previous years is the pantsuit – or skirt suit.
It is, in my opinion, a true wildcard, which I do not yet own but certainly give it a thought.
In fact, I find it to be extremely versatile that can be used in so many ways for work but also, separated, for more informal occasions or a nice evening.
Chosen in a darker, more elegant color, it can be worn alone, with a minimal top, or with a beautiful bright blouse.
A super versatile garment, in short, especially for those of us who like the capsule wardrobe concept, made up of very few pieces, because it multiplies the options.
5 – THE LOAFER WITH A PROMINENT SOLE
Returning to footwear, a strong trend of the moment is undoubtedly the loafers with a prominent sole.
While certainly not a very new trend, loafers will still be seen a lot this fall and winter.
Those with prominent soles, which have already been well established for a few seasons, will go a long way, making a big comeback this year.
But we will really see them in all colors and leathers – from the more classic and minimalist lines, to those with a really prominent sole or a high heel, which besides being very trendy also have the merit of protecting us from the weather.
6 – THE CLASSIC SHIRT (EVEN WORN AS A JACKET)
This fall trend we are already seeing now involves the classic shirt, often white, but also very colorful.
It makes a big comeback among the Fashion Trends in 2022/2023 and is also worn in a casual key, perhaps open like a jacket.
Clearly, going forward with the season, the same classic shirt we can wear under blazers first and under coats later.
It is taken both for the office and for an evening, depending on the color and fabric.
A nice shirt, in short, is a timeless classic, but also a super trendy item this fall.
7– TRENCH COAT
It returns both in the oversized, sometimes asymmetrical version that we have seen in previous seasons, and in the more classic and “clean” version, often in the very classic beige.
8 – THE PLEATED MIDI SKIRT
Another trendy item making a comeback with fury is the midi skirt, preferably a pleated one.
This fall it will be in fashion paired first with loafers or simple but stylish sneakers. Then, as the season progresses, also paired with beautiful boots.
It is a truly versatile garment that can be downplayed with ease. In fact, just pair it with a soft sweater or sweatshirt.
But with a pair of a very stylish pair of boots and a faux fur or a chic camel coat, here it is transformed, becoming super chic.
9 – TOP HANDLE BAGS, COMFORTABLE AND STYLISH
As you know, I am a fan of handbags and I collect them. So I immediately took the opportunity to give me a new one as a gift!
The model that will be on trend this fall and winter is both and also a great classic: it is the so-called “Top Handle” model, generally quite structured and featuring a top handle.
