Well-known comedian Raju Shrivastava passed after about 42 days of hospitalisation at the age of 58. After having a heart attack on August 10, Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Mumbai. The 58-year-old stand-up comedian underwent angioplasty but was still in critical condition.
During a workout in Delhi on August 10 he suffered a massive heart attack and collapsed. He was taken to AIIMS for treatment. He was on ventilator and went into coma. He breathed his last on Wednesday.
Known for his satirical and mimicry items across the nation, Raju was very popular in film industry. He also acted in a few Hindi movies.
