FOR the prosperity and development of farmers, central India’s biggest agriculture exhibition Agrovision Agro Summit will be organised from November 10 to 13 at Reshimbagh Ground.
This was announced by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping and Ganga Rejuvenation, Water Resources, while talking to the media on Saturday.
Agrovision Agro Summit will be inaugurated at the hands of Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharashtra on November 10, in the presence of Nitin Gadkari, Chief Patron of Agrovision and other dignitaries.
On the occasion, Gadkari launched the Agrovision App which will provide all details of the Agrovision Summit.
Agrovision Agro Summit in its 9th edition would focus on bamboo cultivation, silk, fisheries, honey, dairy farming, etc. Agrovision aimed at increasing farmers’ income by imparting knowledge, training and introducing them to new and innovative farm technologies. Renowned experts would conduct workshops and give their valuable inputs in more than 21 topics including Surplus Management, Gadkari said.

More than 400 national and multinational companies, agri companies, research institutes, financial institutes, agriculture colleges, State Government Agriculture Department, service providers, etc. would be part of Agrovision. One of the main attractions would be the livestock pavilion where large varieties of hybrid animals would be available. Information on water management, dairy business, poultry farming, fisheries, bee management, better crop production management, solar power etc., would be discussed in the conference, he stated.
Gadkari said that students and farmers would be selected by the Agrovision Foundation Expert Committee and Rs 1 lakh consolidated aid would be provided to students and farmers who invent new technology in agriculture.
Ramesh Mankar, Organiser Secretary of Agrovision, Girish Gandhi, Foundation Organiser, Datta Meghe, former MP, Devendra Parekh, President of VED and others were prominently present on the occasion.
