Nagpur : Three suicides were reported in city on Monday at different locations. In all the cases police have registered a case of accidental death. In the first incident, a 58-year-old man who was living alone at his house in Narsala was found hanging to the ceiling of of his residence on Monday. Ashok Dange, was living alone in city while his only daughter and his wife were in Mumbai. Dange was found hanging to ceiling with a nylon rope by his ne ighbours who soon alerted Hudkeshwar police. Cops rushed to the spot and sent the body to a hospital where Dange was announced brought dead. Cops said, Dange was an alcoholic and he took the drastic step in the influence of alcohol.
In another incident, Vijay Bhagat, 28, committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling fan with a bed sheet at his house on Monday at Dhadiwar Layout. Bhagat was found hanging by his family members who rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) but he was announced brought dead by doctors. The reason behind the drastic step is still unknown.
In the last incident, 54-year-old Anil Dongre allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the rod on the ceiling at his house with a scarf on Monday afternoon at Misal Layout. Cops said, the reason behind the suicide is still unknown. However, police are investigating further. A case of accidental death has been registered at Jaripatka police station.
