Sachiin Joshi and Nargis Fakhri fight the age-old trope of a haunted house and a disturbed spirit in the trailer of Amavas.
While Joshi and Fakhri try and fathom the inexplicable goings-on in the house, Bhushan Patel’s narrative weaves deeper into a horrific thriller. With generous jump scares and low angles, the morbid atmosphere around their new abode is well established.
Here you go! The trailer of my next film @amavasmovie. Watch it now. https://t.co/glv4wMTANw
Directed by @patelbhush, co-starring @sachiinjoshi @kingaliasgar @navneetdhillon @VivanBhathena & #MonaSingh.@viikingMediaEnt @tseries #AmavasMovie— Nargis (@NargisFakhri) December 19, 2018
Being a new couple in love, Sachiin and Nargis are initially seen romancing each other in typical Bollywood style (slow-motion running et al). However, the eerie proceedings in the house force a greater sense of doom over their newly found love for the other.
As the two start getting affected by the evil spirits around them, there are other external elements which warn them of the potency in the evil that had resided in the house. Amavas is scheduled to hit theatres on 11 January, 2019.
