Nagpur : You have heard stories of jewellery and cash theft from homes and commercial setups. But now, a unique case of robbery has come to light from Maharashtra’s Nagpur District where robbers looted 79 kg hair from a man on the Nagpur-Hyderabad highway.
Pradeep Nerla, a 28-year old resident of Rangareddi, Andhra Pradesh, was traveling on the Nagpur-Hyderabad highway on Saturday night.
He had bought 79 Kg hair worth Rs 15,000 from Nagpur and was returning to Hyderabad when 3-4 robbers stopped his car and looted him in Ruikhairi area on the Nagpur-Hyderabad highway.
After the incident, Pradeep filed a complaint in Butibori Police station.
As per the complaint filed to Police Station, the victim had bought 79 Kg hair from Nagpur and was returning home in his Mahindra Verito Car. When Pradeep reached the Ruikhairi Shivar area on the Nagpur-Hyderabad highway, a white coloured car stopped in front of his car and block his route. To avoid any damage, Pradeep stopped his car in the middle of the highway.
Moments later, three to four robbers pulled Pradeep out of his car and started hitting him.
The robbers then proceeded to loot the 79 kg hair that Pradeep had brought from Nagpur.
Pradeep rushed to the nearest police station in Butibori and filed a complaint. He said all the accused were in the age group of 20 to 24 years.
The police then registered complaints against the unknown persons under IPC Sections 392, 341, 34.
