Nagpur : Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research (DAIMSR) organize An Awareness Session on Gynaecological issues for it’s female students. The main moto of that event was to bring awareness among the young and enthusiastic girls about all the sexual as well as menstrual issues and hygiene.
The eminent gynaecologist Dr. Vaidehi Marathe from Maher Maternity & Nursing Home, specialized in Obs. & Gynaecology was the chief guest of the event.
She has received many Awards & achievements in her speciality & she is member of many Gynaec. organization.
She threwed light on various aspects concerning women’s health, hygiene and social awareness about how women can take preventive measures to avoid unwanted problems regarding menstrual cycle.
All the students have actively participated with full enthusiasm. Dr. Vaidehi Marathe cleared many queries of the girls and also taught them how to take care of themselves.
‘It was overall a very informative and knowledgeable interactive session held for us’ was stated by Ms. Anushka Parmar, Student co-ordinator. It had really cleared lot of our doubts, myths & queries related to menstrual hygiene & Sexual grievances. We expect & request Dr. Vaidehi to take this type of sessions in near future.
